Swanson Law Center, P.A. in Gainesville has always been known for putting both clients and community first. It is with much excitement that we are able to announce that both senior partner Cynthia Swanson and associate attorney Tee Lee have recently received the Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award from the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association, Southern Legal Counsel, and Three Rivers Legal Service, Inc. for their outstanding commitment to providing pro bono legal services on behalf of residents of the Eighth Judicial Circuit of Florida (Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Gilchrist, Levy, and Union Counties).
Pro bono work is any legal service done without the attorney’s expectation
of compensation. Many people call pro bono work “legal
aid” for this reason. No matter what it is called, both Cynthia and
Tee are proud to be able to do their part in helping indigent members
of their communities find the professional legal guidance they need during
difficult or confusing times.
Depending on the case, pro bono legal work can include:
- Sit-down consultations to explain legal options
- Helping collect, complete, and file paperwork
- Negotiating solutions with opposing counsel
- Providing representation in court
Once again, our whole team at Swanson Law Center, P.A. is proud for both Cynthia Swanson and Tee Lee for getting this pro bono award. If you would like to know more about either attorney’s accomplishments, or if you need an adoption, divorce, or estate planning lawyer for your case in Gainesville, contact our office to schedule an initial consultation.
